Today you will spend time with these beautiful creatures – The Elephants in Chiang Mai. We are going to visit a unique elephant rescue project which was established during 1990. Get up close and personal with the Elephants, feeding them and bathing these incredible creatures.

Day 1: Exploring Elephant Park
- 07:30-08:00 Pick you up at your hotel in Chiang Mai for a scenic drive through the agricultural countryside of the Mae Taeng Valley en route to the elephant park.
- When you arrive you'll hear personal stories of the rescued elephants told by the expert guides. Learn about the problems the elephants faced before they arrived at the park. The guides will also explain how the park is helping in the treatment and care of Thailand's dwindling elephant population.
- You'll be able to help out by unloading and distributing fruit treats, and then you'll have the chance to feed the elephants from the viewing platform.
- A sumptuous and varied buffet lunch follows.
- After lunch take a walk with the staff to a nearby river and learn how to safely and properly bathe an elephant. It's up to you if you want to plunge into the water to scrub their backs as they splash around. If you don't feel like having a bath with the elephants you can stay dry on the riverbank while watching the elephants at play.
- After bath time, it will be time to say goodbye to the elephants and to the park. You'll be transferred back to Chiang Mai and dropped off at your hotel.
