Day 1: Welcome to the Capital!
The first day is devoted to the city center and to the nearby famous sites around it, where you can check out the local life as well as the local food.
- Pick up from airport and drive to hotel.
- Enjoy your first taste of Guizhou cuisine for lunch.
- Head to Jiaxiu pavilion.
- Explore the magnificent Jiaxiu pavilion built during the Ming dynasty that has weathered time beautifully. Learn more about the art forms in the past, from the rich collection of woodworks by ancient artists, stone engravings, paintings, calligraphy works, and seeing many other interesting things.
- Stroll peacefully in the city center visiting the Flowers and Birds markets in Guiyang, which will be an interesting look into the local life of Guizhou.
- Transfer to hotel.
- Walk to the Guiyang Food Street in your free time to sample the local food Guizhou has to offer.

Day 2: Grandest Huangguoshu!
The second day is dedicated to the scenic wonders of the Huangguoshu Waterfall and other beautiful spots in the surroundings.

- Explore the impressive Huangguoshu Waterfall, situated in Anshun and other amazing sights in the area.
- Transfer to hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 3: Lovely Miao!
The third day is focused on your first close up of one of the famous ethnic minorities of Guizhou - the Miao people. The day will be spent on getting to know them by visiting their unique villages.
- Pick up from hotel and drive to Kali.
- Visit the Kaili Museum, showcases the interesting history of the ethnic minorities in the Guizhou area.
- Stop for lunch.
- Drop by the Nanhua Village, home to the Miao people where you will be introduced to their local home structure and their cultural traditions.
- Visit the Jidao Village to further study and learn more about the Miao people and their striking features such as traditional costumes (especially the women) and house constructions.
- Transfer to hotel.

Day 4: Colors of Ethnicity
The fourth day is centered on more interesting Miao villages and Rongjiang County to enjoy the popular Kaitun rice terraces on the way.
- Pick up from hotel and drive to Langde Village.
- Explore the mysterious and beautiful Langde Village, the most famous ethnic village among the others to learn further about the Miao people and their cultural traditions.
- Stop for lunch.
- Drop by the unique Datang Village, the only Miao village where the women and girls wear short skirts and not the traditional long skirts of the Miao people and also wear special jewelry and ornaments, which are reminiscent of the Tang dynasty.
- Head to Lijiang.
- Observe the local life and discover the Kaitun rice terraces along the way.
- Arrive in Rongjiang.

Day 5: Authentic Exploration
The fifth day is allocated for getting to know of China's ethnic minority and exploring the epic scenery of Guizhou. An overnight stay in one of the ethnic villages will complement your learning as well.
- Pick up from hotel and drive to local market.
- Enjoy taking in the sights and sounds of the local market in Rongjiang for more insight into the Guizhou local life.
- Head to the Baji Dong Village, an introduction into one of the ethnic minorities residing in Guizhou - the Dong people, where the cradle of Dong dances and festivals will be interesting to explore.
- Stop for lunch.
- Drop by the quaint Jiuri Village to proceed the exploration of ethnic China.
- Discover the beautiful and peaceful Donglang Rice Terraces.
- Visit the Kongming Village, full of mystery and the stuff of legends surrounded by amazing scenery.
- Enter the Dangniu Miao Village where you will stay overnight and experience village life.

Day 6: China’s Switzerland!
The sixth day is reserved for trekking throughout the countryside of Guizhou and more encounters with the ethnic groups in their respective villages.
- Set out early and trek from Dangniu Miao Village to Jiaju village, as this is where the starting point is.
- Go on the nature hike to encounter villages of the ethnic minorities and their day-to-day tasks.
- Visit the village and learn more about their culture, customs, and traditions while enjoying the scenery.
- Arrive at hotel before lunchtime.
- Drive to Zhaoxing where you will be stopped for a while to visit Bapa and Huanggang Villages along the way, which are Dong minority villages and worth experiencing of how picturesque and beautiful they are.
- Arrive in Zhaoxing.
- Transfer to hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 7: Lively Dong village
The seventh day is spent in the active Dong minority town of Zhaoxing where you get to decide which activity you would like to participate. You can have some leisure time, go around the village, or do some hiking. Just choose what you can do for the day and roll with it to have a memorable time here.
- Spend the whole day leisurely relaxing.
- Go around Zhaoxing , one of the largest Dong villages in the province to get to know more about their Dyeing craft.
- Trek/hike through the beautiful countryside of Zhaoxing.

Day 8: Goodbye Guizhou!
The eight day bids farewell to the ethnic Guizhou, you had a blast exploring with us before departure. You will be escorted safely to the airport for your flight back home.
